Georgina Bloomberg with Barky Pines Animal Rescue dogs
This spring, four lucky dogs made their way from Barky Pines Animal Rescue in Loxahatchee, Florida, to South Hampton Animal Shelter in Hampton Bays, New York, to find their forever homes. Rescue-dog advocate and grand prix show jumper Georgina Bloomberg transported them to Palm Beach International Airport and wished them well as they headed north. Three out of the four were adopted to their forever homes before they even arrived in New York.
