GGT-Footing is pleased to welcome Catherine Trice to their team. A recent graduate from The University of Georgia, Catherine is passionate about horses and is determined to make a positive impact on their health and well-being, which is exactly what she will accomplish through this position at GGT-Footing. Good luck Catherine!

It’s a girl! Congratulations to Sidelines writer Lindsay McCall and her husband Kyle, of Jupiter, Florida. They are the proud parents of Audrina Abbey McCall who was born August 22, 2014. Lindsay, who is an equestrian photojournalist and the PR manager for the United States Para-Equestrian Association, writes all of the articles on para-equestrians for Sidelines.

Congratulations to Kevin Babington and Shorapur on winning the $250,000 Grand Prix at the 39th Annual Hampton Classic Horse Show. Kevin, of Ireland, guided the nine-year-old, Hanoverian mare to the fastest fault-free jump-off time (39.16 seconds) to claim the $250,000 Hampton Classic Grand Prix, presented by Land Rover, in an exciting climax to the Classic. Brianne Goutal, of New York City, rode Nice De Prissey to second place with 0 faults in 40.34 seconds, and Richie Moloney, of Ireland, rode Freestyle De Muze to third place, with four faults in 44.26 seconds.

Congratulations to Team UltrOZ rider Ian Millar (pictured), Canada’s all-time leading show jumping rider, who at age 67 won the $1.5 million CP International Grand Prix at the Spruce Meadows Masters aboard Dixson. He also teamed with Ben Asselin, 20, who also uses the UltrOZ Elite therapeutic ultrasound system on his horses, to lead Canada to the win in the $300,000 BMO Nations Cup team competition. One may be young, and one may be older (but not old!), but Canada sure has two great winners!
